Botetourt Resource Center, Inc.

The Botetourt Resource Center, Inc., is a 501c3  non-profit organization whose mission for the past 20 years has been to connect the residents of Botetourt County with needed human resources through information, advocacy and referral and to provide programs and services to the community to address those needs. We are proud to share this mission with partners who are located in and outside of Botetourt County who view the BRC as a hub which coordinates needed resources and fosters new programs to promote independent and healthy living.

During this very difficult time for so many, the BRC,Inc. is here to help. Although our doors are closed we are still providing help to the community.  Please call us if we can connect you to needed resources or provide additional assistance.   

Every year the BRC, Inc. has increased the programs and services offered to Botetourt County residents. 

• National recognition as a Robert Woods Johnson “Faith in Action” Volunteer Program
• Profiled in a front page article in the Roanoke Times in October of 2009
• Featured in a major article in Virginia Business Magazine in June of 2011 about philanthropy and those doing great work across the Commonwealth
• Featured in the Botetourt Living Magazine, 2012
• Awarded the sixth year Foundation for Roanoke Valley Senior Belonging Initiative Grant for older adults in 2014.  
• Awarded $34,142 in 2019 by a Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia Grant from the Mary S. and Willie Z. Camp Fund to support the Center's programs for older adults.
• Awarded the Best of Botetourt in The Botetourt View as a non-profit in 2013, 2016 and 2017.
